United Blue 1st and 2nd Place at Recent Tournaments

Congratulations to the MVLA United Blue for their first place finish at the District Cup Tournament, Gold division. The girls went undefeated the entire weekend. They are defending champions of this same title from last year! And a second congratulations for their 2nd place finish in the Santa Clara Sporting Tournament, Gold division. The girls had their most exciting win of the season in their semi-final match against the De Anza Force. The girls came back late in the game to tie it up 1-1, forcing the match into overtime, and then eventually winning in their first ever penalty kicks!
