College Program

MVLA, more than a club.  A community based club striving to positively impact our players for their lifetime.  The MVLA College Program is one of many ways we assist our players.  With our College Program, we aim to serve as a bridge from high school to college athletics and academics.

To empower and encourage

We will encourage our MVLA players to set collegiate goals and will provide them with tools to feel confident in their college recruiting process. We will continue to emphasize the importance of seeking personal improvement and excellence on the field and in the classroom. Overall, we hope to empower our players to set personal goals and to take ownership of their recruiting process.

To educate

We will host an annual MVLA College Night, distribute a Seasonal College Newsletter with helpful and relevant college and recruiting related information, and will provide up-to-date recruiting specific information on our website. The information on our website includes helpful tips on communicating with college coaches and helpful resources for players and families as they navigate their college process.

To provide support

We will help provide structure and support for players and families as you search for your personal best fit college. We believe in our players and look forward to providing you with insight as you consider various colleges and go through the recruiting process.

As the College Coordinators we certainly are available to answer questions and to offer additional insight, yet due to the large number of high school MVLA players we are unable to provide you with a personal recruiting service. We do, however, want you to feel informed and  empowered during your personal college process.  We hope you will refer to the resources we provide and will always encourage you to build a good line of communication between you and your club coach during your college prep process.
